so as cheesy as this sounds, we have officially entered THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR. yes, i’ve said it on here before, but i’ll say it again… i love december and celebrating christmas. i freak out just a little bit about it. kind of like kristen wiig in those “SURPRISE” skits she used to do on snl. i’ve been using the images in this post to serve me up some serious inspiration and have started decorating my apartment. pinecones, a log cabin gingerbread house, bottle thrush ornaments and fake snow line our window sill, while our tv stand is decked out with mason jars filled with holiday candy, a paper source christmas countdown, and my favorite nest holiday candles on rotation. if you want to get in the kitchen and cook up something delicious these cookies are perfect for you and so are these cinnamon rolls. don’t forget to bake while listen to a super special playlist, which for me includes a whole lot of james taylor, sufjan stevens, coldplay, and the shins.
