there are so many different parts of these outfits that i love, and am tempted to stalk half of these looks on their respective websites. that actually is probably my biggest issue when it comes to following fashion bloggers… i find these outfits and get a small obsession with them, and then i go to the websites of the stores where they were purchased and watch the items like a hawk. basically sit there and wait for them to go sale. so if any of you want to be like me (which i don’t recommend), check out some of these bloggers!
for my internship i’ve been sticking to the same uniform: black skinny jeans, a nice shirt (or t-shirt if i know i’m going to get dirty), and ballet flats. luckily i love wearing all three of these things, so it’s been working out, but every once in a while i love dressing up. i’m not really feeling the possibility of ruining my clothes, so i tend to do that thing where i vicariously live through bloggers/plan out regular outfits for the weekend when it is totally unnecessary. for example, i am seeing the lumineers in a few weeks and i couldn’t be more excited… so like the insane person that i am, i’ve been planning out outfits in my head repeatedly. at this point, i’m up to outfit number three, but i know i won’t be settling for anything soon. at least i’m honest with myself..
here are a few of my favorite outfits this week… i can’t get enough of brooklyn blonde’s look or the atelier’s outfit (already have an outfit inspired by it!)
on a final note, can we all just admire that asos gold sequin skirt on brooklyn blonde? that outfit is truly perfection.
I love everything about the fourth of july, and count it as one of my favorite holidays. This year in fashion stars and stripes have been all the rage. From star-printed dresses to nautical striped tops, they’re everywhere. The color combination of red and blue hasn’t just been reserved for the fourth, but has made its appearances in many a fashion line. Go check out J.Crew’s website and you’ll know what I mean. I love “patriotic fashion” and these following bloggers have some of my favorite takes on this look:
